Karlovarske Mineralne Vody and Pepsico Acquire Knjaz Miloš
In cooperation with the global law firm Clifford Chance, AP Legal provided full legal support to the lenders syndicate for acquisition finance for the purchase of the leading Serbian mineral water and soft drinks producer Knjaz Miloš.
The syndicate of both domestic and foreign lenders included Raiffesien Bank Beograd, Erste Bank Novi Sad, Erste Group Bank AG Vienna, and the EBRD, provided acquisition finance for the purchase of Knjaz Miloš from the UK private equity firm Mid Europa Partners to a joint venture of Czech Republic-based Karlovarske Mineralni Vody (KMV) and PepsiCo. Knjaz Miloš is among the largest Serbian producers of mineral water with a history of over 200 years.
